LET IT SNOW! and it did!

Well it’s been awhile ,but what does that matter.The only thing going on is Ron and Hip. They have been workin’ their asses off! When I got to the garage Sunday everyone was bustin ass except ,yeah, you guessed it,our Driver,he was feedin his face,he keeps that up and he ain’t going to fit in the race car,let alone that new fire suit! I’ve never seen Hip work so hard ! We didn’t even have to threaten him or anything! Can’t say that about our driver though besides eating he did manage to tell Hip to take a break once in a while.Maybe our driver was feeling a little guilty ’cause he didn’t do anything himself. Believe me I didn’t let him off the hook! I think he was resting up cause Monday was the Marine Corps. Birthday, and if you know our driver you know he is a Marine. Lets not hold that against him though! JUST kidding Mike! Boy am I going to hear about that. He still didn’t do any work!!!! Ice cream cones! It was a good day alot was accomplished.

Well stopped by the garage today and got a chance to see the progress that has been taking place.Hip has done some welding ,that’s a good thing if you can get Hip to do some work. Between him having his one beer and him puffing away on dem cancer sticks,man am I glad I quit those things , almost three years now.Sorry ’bout that. Work is steadily getting done , even while da Bears played on T.V. work was getting done! Ron was motivating ,bending, drilling ,fitting tubing , he was wearing a path in the concrete. Our driver on the other hand ,well you know. Trouble,need I say more.Talking shit about our painter from Florida,I stuck up for him though I thought it was not fair to talk behind his back,but that only works when you know which way he is facing.  Bottom line is work is getting done and even the D-man showed up at the garage today, wonders will never cease. All in all it was a good day .

I’ve been hearing rumors about some Fantastic automotive painter thats coming up from Florida to paint the T/A. If it’s the person I beleive it to be he works for an airline down in the land of sun.I do find it hard to beleive though stranger things have happened. I know this guy was suppose to do some ‘glass work on the nose and the doors but I guess that fell through.Now that I think about it it has been along time since he’s done any painting! Well like I said it is only a rumor, and this guy is a LOT older now! It would be nice but it’s only a rumor , wink , wink.

Another Sunday at the garage only this time work was getting done!Ron and Hip were steady at it ,Welding and watching the Bears. Good thing the bears won it was driving Hip crazy,we need him sane to do the welding.He was defenitly on task as was Ron with keeping him there.I on the other hand had my hands full with keeping Mike on task,He started washing the grapes off the walk wayas it gets pretty messy , then he started washing his car. You gotta watch these old guys with a hose before you know it everything is wet .It was a good day this are really coming along well.

Ron was also telling me something about a custom piston ordering form that he just downloaded from his p.c. guess he’s looking at some upgrades,gottalove them upgrades. 2009 could be a kool year wit all thats going on. Lots of plans so stay tuned.

I see when I wasn’t lookin the D-man added VIDEO (hyperlink) next to BLOG on the home page for S.A.R.. Sneaky D-man,and ya just left ,did you that while you were here? Nawww! But he did show me some Exciting new ideas he has for S.A.R. I like them alot, ya gotta stay tuned there’s no stopping D-man when he gets on a roll.

I get a kick out of these old videos can’t wait to start making some new ones.Ain’t that far away,better get crackin’ on that darn welder to hop to.I did notice someone finally left a comment to one of Mikes Posts ! See that didn’t hurt evidently someone figured out how to leave a smart ass remark. Of course we would love to shoot in digital , if we had one! We do have a tripod though. But Barbie all you have to do is keep up with the site and we’ll let you know where we’ll be racing(like thats a big secret)any way you stop by with that kool digital stuff ,we’ll supply the tripod and you can show us how its done. well another day in garage with a bunch of jokers. No work today mandatory Bears T.V. and we won! Ok so did the Sox , Sox git Braggin’ rights,we didn’t get shut out,Terry or do you spell it with an ‘I’ ?  It’s too bad about the Cubs, NOT!!! You’re C U R S E D !  BOO! That felt good! Bears WIN!! SOX WIN!! D man has big plans for Tues. workin on video,it’ll get posted in the next few weeks. D man is a wiz on this stuff. Mike was doin his Commander Cody Impersonnation he cracks me up ,you gotta ask him to do it for you.Don’t take no for an answer! Tell him Max says so !!

Ok stopped over at S.A.R. garage today to see what was up and to my surprise I found our driver up and about and painting the garage!! Wonders will never seize. Ya it was a surprise,once I picked myself up off the ground,I found he had shoved a paint brush in my hand and put me ,ME ! to work .I know it’s hard to believe but if you want something done…you know.Then our welder showed up, when he was getting up off the ground you guessed it Mike had put him to work ,I know thats really hard to believe HIP working. It’s hard enough to get him to work welding let alone painting a garage. I do have to admit the garage did need a coat of paint. It looks good.It ain’t finished but we have time. Rome wasn’t built in a day,hey that would be a good name for the car,cause it……… later  no one reads this anyway.
